Found this place while working offsite and what can I say. Food is amazing and the atmosphere is down home. The chicken pastor and the spinach & goat cheese was amazing. Highly recommended. A definite must. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic and unexpected. Parking and seating was no issue when we went with seating both inside and out. Order at counter and food delivered to table. We ordered numerous dishes to share and sample and loved them all.

Brisket taco was juicy and had good flavor. My chicken taco was just okay. The chicken meat was too dry. The service is very friendly though and the place has a cozy feel.

I can't believe Chef Tony has to steal ideas from the food truck next door. I would suggest Tony take lessons on how to cook authentic dishes from the owner of the food truck. If you want real authentic food don't eat here.

The food was amazing! Definitely need to go back to try the rest of the food.

One of my favourite restaurants in Denton. Food is unique, and always well seasoned/cooked.They have a fair share of vegetarian/vegan options as well.Favourites: Blackened Chicken Sandwich, Pork Chili Verde Empanada, Tofu or Fajita Chicken Rice Bowl

Needs a DEEP cleaning and ventilation inside.

Met my son for a late lunch here and loved the tacos! Just can’t say enough about the unique flavors used to bring out the deliciousness of the pork and beef in the tacos. Plus, sitting out on the patio was a pleasure. Great value - low prices - great food!

Great food, music and amazing service

The food was great until I found two pieces of hair that was not mine. Every worker has hair, so it might be best if they wore hair nets while cooking and making food.

This place was amazing! The food was cooked fresh and fast. The staff was nice and super helpful, everything from the empanadas to the tacos to the rice bowls was all very good and well priced, I will definitely be going back!

Delicious Puerto Rican food, definitely try the guava + cream cheese empanada!

Fun Latin environment great food. Chips and salsas come with two different choices of chips and salsa! Peruvian Sandwich is a perfect blend of spicy, sweet, crunchy, hot and cold a must try!!! Not Tex Mex but Latin so a nice break from the everyday!

The food is outstanding. The menu is limited but their dishes are fantastic. There is extremely limited indoor seating if the weather is bad, but the tacos are worth it. Check out their daily special too.

Love this place! It is very spacious, good for studying and doing personal works. Staffs are nice and friendly. I tried this one, I don’t remember the name, but it tastes great! It tastes like caffe latte + salt caramel + little bit of chocolate. It looks cool though!

Here's how this works. Walk in, order a steak sandwich, then eat it. Afterwards go walk around in the sun and realize that was the best steal sandwich of your life.

I love how authentic the food is at this place. It is delicious and affordable. They even have a kids menu.

The tacos and sandwiches are awesome. I wished they server the slasa in bigger ramekins. Don't come to the Square without eating here first!

Tried this place on a whim and was not disappointed. Great restaurant specializing in Latin street food. I had two different empanadas (goats cheese & onions and brisket) and a brisket taco. Empanadas were stuffed full, as was the taco. They have limited indoor seating, but a generous amount of outdoor seating. The food was amazing and I liked the overall vibe.

Hole in the wall tex-mex spot. Limited but satisfying selection of options. Truly a taste for whatever you're craving. Small dining area but plenty of seating outside. All around a great spot for a quick bite.

You can't go wrong here. Boca31 is unreasonably delicious. The empanadas, the tacos, the yucca fries, it's all fantastic. Nice little patio to enjoy when the weather is nice, or take it to go to Armadillo or Harvest House and combine with some brews.

Hands down the best street style tacos and tortas in DFW. Well worth the longer driver for me from Lewisville even though there are many similar options much closer by.

Always delicious and the owner is so nice. Great vegan options and great prices.

Yummy tacos and amazing goat cheese empanadas!

The only thing that disappoints me here is that the inside of this restaurant is so small. We were lucky as a party of 3 that there was still seating inside. However, it's great for those who want to match their budget with appetite. You can get 1 taco as a nice snack or 3 or more to satisfy your hunger. I've heard from my sister that it's usually busy but the food is great & there's additional seating outside so it's definitely worth checking out. Pic of a taco in its own taco holder.

This is my new favorite place to eat in Denton!!!!!! Oh my goodness the flavor of this Latin street food is off the charts!!!! It is so very scrumptious you won't believe your taste buds!!!! Not only does your food come out fast, but the flavor in your mouth will last for hours!!!!! I ordered the chicken pastor and the barbacoa tacos and the pork chili verde empanada and they were the very best they could be! I had to go back for seconds it was that tasty, and even once the seconds were finished I wanted to go back for more!!!!! Even the sour cream taste better here....it must be smoked or filled with spices, I don't know but it was awesome! I left this spot smiling something fierce and wanting more!!!! I'm going back right now for more only three hours later!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot in Denton!!!!

Fantastic atmosphere!!! Awesome People!!!! Best empanadas I have ever had!! Pork Verde was savory. The spinach, goat cheese and carmalized onions were an experience in themselves that should not be missed. The guava and cream cheese dessert empe was perfect to end with. The yucca fries were good and the cilantro dipping sause was fantastic. Highly recomend this Latin fusion food paradise to any in the Denton area. The topper is how affordable it is.

I was excited to try this place but it wasn't what I expected. The only thing I did liked was the fried yuca, but everything else didn't have flavor and I found it a little pricey.

I forgot to take pictures but I can say that any of the sandiwches, you will not regret having. I will have to be back to try everything else but the food was delicious, speed to get the food was quick, and the staff was great to chat with! Highly recommend!

Friendly service & very clean restraunt. So much better than a lot of other places in Denton. Love the outdoor seating as well.Visited a second time for lunch 5/7/19 and got the pulled brisket tostada with pineapple pico. I liked that much better than the tacos I ordered previously. It was a very large portion. Honesty I would have liked to have the option to only order 1 as it was really too large for me. I did order the children's chicken quesadilla as well just to see what it was like. It truly has a LOT of chicken on it. I mean more than most places put on an adult quesadilla. It does have seasoning though so depending on how picky your child is you may need to stick with the cheese version (but the chicken is definitely good & you may want one for yourself).

I had the tofu fajita bowl and it was so good! The tofu was fried crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was perfect! I plan on going back to try their tacos and sandwiches that they can make vegan.

Arrived just in time to get one of the last mofongo specials. If a special ever interests you, try to go early because it'll definitely sell out. This was delicious!

Food was just great. The cilantro mayo is spectacular. Went awesome on the yucca fries. Prices a little higher than we expected, but totally worth it. Space is a little small but cute. Very Mexican in decor.

Yesterday was the first time in this place. But It is definitely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the fine cuisine and wine and with the modest payment. We will absolutely return there soon.

The empanadas were amazing. I'd highly recommend them. Amount to order :3-4 for the average female. 5-6 for the average. Inside seating is limited.

Amazing flavors and accommodating hospitality!

I’m so happy to see that they were able to stay open during the shutdown. They serve amazing food and have a wonderful staff. Boca 31 is my favorite place to eat in Denton.

Delicious food. We really enjoyed this for a lunch date.

This is an extremely worn place by the college, but they had a very nice covered outdoor seating area that the breeze passed through. Everything was cooked hot and fresh. The barbacoa brisket taco was good. It was topped with pickled red onions and slaw. But the empanada was the bomb!!!! The outer crust was a light golden color, perfectly cooked and the filling of pork and green chillies was tender and juicy with just the right amount of heat. I highly recommend this place. It is not fancy but the food is mighty good!

This place had GREAT food, Great Service and the owner is very involved and friendly. Highly recommend trying it out you won't be disappointed.

I have had both the chicken and beef tacos from here. They were both fantastic and two filled me up. They are loaded with meat and veggies from their pico de gallo. Everything is made fresh in-house, providing authenticity and uniqueness. Everyone that works here is really nice and they are accommodating of special dietary needs.

Great Tacos! I love this place. The food is always good and the staff is helpful and kind. The restaurant is clean. They have cucumber our lime water out. They even have outdoor sitting areas.

First time I tried it, tacos were BOGO free, who doesn't love that! Seems like a cute little place for summer lunches or dinners. I tried the vegetarian tacos. The sweet potato was a strange addition, but other than that they were good. I tried all their sauces, delicious. I also tried the dessert empanada, guava and cream cheese that was amazing!

Went today for my birthday to try a new place. AWESOME. Will go again. Great food and service.

Good food but overrated. You should try Velvet Taco’s in Dallas. You will think twice about coming back here. I am not sure if the staff keep the place clean. Some sketchy people working here.
